The Children’s Course / First Tee of Greater Portland is a non-profit organization providing character education to young people using the game of golf as a metaphor for life. Life skills and values inherent in golf are easily transferable to children’s lives off the course.  Young people learn interpersonal skills, and conflict resolution to take care of their body and mind, among other important lessons that have a positive impact that last a lifetime.
