The Children's Course - COVID-19 Precautions
While we want everyone to enjoy the outdoors and golfing at The Children's Course, during this ever-changing and uncertain time, we're implementing some extraordinary precautions to relieve anxiety and put golfer and course employee safety at the forefront. We ask that patrons to please use social distancing of at least 6' and not congregate in groups of more than 10 people. We've also implemented other measures which include:
-
Check in quickly and immediately head to the 1st tee.
-
All course pull carts will be cleaned with sanitizer before and after each round.
-
We've removed all bunker rakes to minimize contact points.
-
Cups on greens will be raised to eliminate contact points with flag stick.
-
All golfers should use hand sanitation station next to clubhouse before and after round.
-
Frequent sanitation of common contact points such as, but not limited to, door knobs, hand rails, ball washers and restroom will occur throughout the day.
-
We ask that any golfer feeling ill or that has been in contact with someone unwell please refrain from visiting the course.
To maintain social distancing we are asking golfers to book their rounds of golf, online or mobile, prior to arriving at the course via GolfNow or over the phone. We are welcoming walk-ups, pending availability, but we are asking that people pay for their rounds via Venmo or PayPal to minimize the handling of credit cards. We will be accepting cash but exact change will be required to minimize handling as well.
We would like to thank everyone for their patience as we all work through this unusual time together. We'll be updating and changing policies and procedures as more information becomes available from local, state and national government agencies. Thanks again and we're excited to see you at The Children's Course!
